The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for enhanced fire safety. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, and ensuring structural security. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and the design allows for four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips.
