The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, providing a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating sway and preventing beam rotation under full load, while front-to-back supports add additional stability. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Wire decking offers ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board components ship in two pieces.
