The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four-side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The system offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety.
