The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter measures 48" W x 12" D x 120" H and is designed to maximize storage area with durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support.
