The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and offers open four-side access for maximum flexibility. The precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, making expansion simple and stable compared to bolting two starter units together.
