The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The shelving unit features easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and features sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces for cost-effective solid decking.
