The SC Preferred 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths, allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components and a boltless design. The shelving unit is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction to securely lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the shelving uses sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces and offers a cost-effective solid surface.
