The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The durable roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the snap-in components allow easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1” centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1” increments, locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, while the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking provides a cost-effective solid surface, with the particleboard shipping in two pieces.
