The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving unit allows four-side access due to its open design, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. It is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the shelving is equipped with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard for a cost-effective solid decking.
