The SC Preferred 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving unit is easy to assemble without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, as it uses snap-in components. Expansion is simplified by joining add-on units for greater stability, requiring less construction than combining two starter units. The sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing includes T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. Front-to-back supports enhance beam stability under full loads. The add-on unit comes with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid shelving surface.
