The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Assembly is easy with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, using snap-in components that enable stable expansion by joining units with less construction than bolting starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. Wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The particle board ships in two pieces.
