The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable and provide four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow, enhancing fire safety. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing for quick expansion and stable joining with other units. The particle board ships in two pieces.
