The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts that are punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, with open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments for flexible storage configurations. The shelving unit features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily for improved fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the system allows for expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The particle board ships in two pieces.
