The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. It features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, preventing back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, with sprinkler water passing through easily to improve fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board included ships in two pieces.
