The SC Preferred 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and wire decking that provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation, and double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The entire assembly is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and requires easy assembly with snap-in components, with no bolts, nuts, or clips needed. Particle board ships in two pieces.
