The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible use, and the unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, it includes double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments, all finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout easily, improving fire safety. The particle board ships in two pieces.
