The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and offer four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
