The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, making it suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, allowing easy customization. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the wire decking facilitates ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout racks for improved fire safety. The shelving features durable roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating and offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
