The SC Preferred 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, the durable shelving features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, providing structural stability and preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The snap-in components enable easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, facilitating expansion and added stability compared to bolting starter units together. The wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Particle board ships in two pieces.
