The SC Preferred 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments for customization, and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is straightforward with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, providing a structurally secure joint and preventing back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking supports ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through the racks easily, improving fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
