The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, ensuring structural security and eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four side access, providing maximum flexibility and ventilation, visibility, and light penetration through wire decking that also facilitates sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Particle board ships in two pieces.
