The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, providing durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization for various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any area. The shelving features easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. The particle board included ships in two pieces.
