The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The durable open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility and easy customization. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, ensuring a structurally secure joint with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. The open design allows for four-sided access and the units can be expanded by joining add-on units for enhanced stability with less construction effort compared to bolting two starter units together.
