The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications, providing a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The durable roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for flexibility, and the open design provides four-sided access. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to form structurally secure joints eliminating back and side sway. The package features sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips.
