The SC Preferred™ 5-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The shelving features open shelves adjustable in 1" increments, providing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The structure includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit comes with rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams vertically adjustable in 1" increments, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The shelving includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking shipped in two pieces for a cost-effective solid surface.
