The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, providing durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level. The shelving system offers various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every area of your facility, featuring open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights that are punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" vertical increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard, shipped in two pieces, which provides a cost-effective solid decking.
