The SC Preferred 3 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, accommodating a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing with 2" x 1" uprights punched on 1" centers, the shelving includes double rivet button stud horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks, improving fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
