The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The shelves are open and adjustable at 1" increments, providing four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the shelving includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers with double riveted horizontal beams to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage, enhancing fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish resists wear, and assembly is straightforward with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board ships in two pieces.
