The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature an open design that provides four side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Particle board included with the package ships in two pieces.
