The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, making it durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various storage needs. The shelving unit is designed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, including front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post to form a secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The package includes easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy, smooth precut wood decking consists of 5/8" thick particleboard that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
