The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring durable and adaptable storage for various spaces. The shelving includes open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing easy customization. The unit offers easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit contains rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces.
