The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, making it suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The unit features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. Open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The kit includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. This starter unit comes with various height, width, and depth options to fit nearly every facility layout.
