The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish on the sturdy roll-formed steel framing, which provides maximum support and prevents beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The package features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the particleboard wood decking is 5/8" thick, precut, smooth, and ships in two pieces for cost-effective solid decking. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility and the shelving is available in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every area of a facility.
