The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing four side access and maximum flexibility. The kit includes sturdy 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway, and chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. The particleboard decking is a smooth, precut, 5/8" thick solid surface shipped in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solution. The system features roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The add-on units allow expansion with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
