The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts for structural security and resistance to back and side sway. The shelving system includes wire decking for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips due to snap-in components, and the chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Particle board ships in two pieces.
