The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The unit allows four side access due to its open design, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, the shelving uses double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel, while sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides a cost-effective solid decking material.
