The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for customizable storage, and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, including front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout easily, which improves fire safety and can lower insurance premiums. Particle board ships in two pieces.
