The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves provide four side access for flexibility, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while permitting sprinkler water to pass easily throughout the racks, enhancing fire safety. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load and a double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post for structural stability, eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
