The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts forming structurally secure joints to eliminate back and side sway, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, as well as sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides maximum support; front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
