The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility for various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every area of a facility. The open design allows four side access, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically by 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, thus improving fire safety and lowering insurance premiums. Particle board ships in two pieces.
