The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The unit offers easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing snap-in components. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1", 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, it provides maximum support and prevents beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass through racks easily, improving fire safety. The package includes particle board shipped in two pieces, and the shelving is designed for use in various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate almost any facility layout.
