The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, and smooth precut 5/8" thick chip-resistant particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces. Durable roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The open shelving design allows four-side access and shelves are adjustable at 1" increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and requires easy assembly with snap-in components—no bolts, nuts, or clips are needed. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility area. This shelving is designed for durability, adaptability, and easy expansion by joining units together with greater stability and less construction than bolting starter units.
