The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking features a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is designed for use in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It offers durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for four side access and maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing, with front-to-back supports and double rivet button stud construction, locks perimeter beams into corner posts, providing structural security and preventing rotation or sway. The precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces, is chip resistant with a gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips.
