The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, along with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, shipped in two pieces, providing cost-effective solid decking.
