The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving unit includes open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration. Assembly is easy and does not require bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports that help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coat, and the sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
