The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration, and the assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking provides a cost-effective solid surface, shipping in two pieces.
