The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible storage configurations. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. The open design allows four-sided access, providing maximum flexibility, and expansion is simplified by joining units with more stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. It is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The shelving includes sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface.
