The SC Preferred 2 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with Laminate Deck measures 48" W x 48" D x 36" H and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and provides durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is facilitated by connecting units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelving unit is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, in a white laminated color.
