The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage area with various heights, widths, and depths. It features durable, adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The shelving unit is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and comes with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
