The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while permitting sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
